Voter Registration Information

A qualified voter must be a U.S. Citizen, 18 years of age by election day, a resident of his precinct for 30 days prior to the next election, and must provide two pieces of identification (one must have current address).

You need to re-register if you have moved to a different precinct or if you have changed your name.

You can register to vote at your County Clerk's office, your Village or City Hall or your Township Office. Your public school office and your library may also offer voter registration.

You must register to vote at least 28 days before the next election.

A mailed-in registration requires in-person voting the first time.
